Clare teaches Digital and Online Journalism at the Faculty of Art, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire.
They have had dedicated postgraduate and undergraduate courses in online journalism since 1999.
Clare has worked in magazines for several years as well as on the regional and national press. She is now course leader of the BA (Hons) Media Management programme.
She is also an outdoor enthusiast and a member of the Lancashire Mountaineering Club. She lives in the beautiful Howgill fells and edits Mountain Bike Skills Magazine.

Clare is currently writing a book and working on international research projects. She is available for research into social media for journalists and the business of journalism. She is also following how magazines are embracing digital technologies and moving to an online environment. She would also be happy to contribute or help if you need advice.
